A Message From Cheyenne Johnson

I am competing for people's choice during Spiva in Bloom! Support me with a monetary donation. The floral artist that raises the most money will receive 50% of the total amount and 50% will go to George A. Spiva Center for the Arts to help with things like scholarships, outreach, classes, camps and more. Thank you for your consideration! My statement for this piece: My floral creations draw inspiration from the natural world, encapsulating the fleeting moments from bloom to decay. I aim to craft arrangements that inspire feelings of peace and delight, utilizing a spectrum of colors and textures that mirror the essence of nature. My objective is to take observers on a journey to a realm of serenity allowing them to recognize the fragile beauty of flowers and the majesty of the natural environment.

At Spiva Center for the Arts, we believe art has the power to inspire, connect, and strengthen community. Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience, make, and share art.

Your support helps bring that mission to life. Every gift makes a difference—fueling exhibitions, classes, camps, outreach programs, artist opportunities, and creative experiences that welcome and engage our community.

Our vision is for Spiva to be a vibrant community catalyst—uniting culture, education, business, and the arts to inspire creativity, support artists, and connect people through shared artistic experiences. With your generosity, Spiva can continue building a creative, connected future for Joplin and the region we serve.
