I am competing for people's choice during Spiva in Bloom! Support me with a monetary donation. The floral artist that raises the most money will receive 50% of the total amount and 50% will go to George A. Spiva Center for the Arts to help with things like scholarships, outreach, classes, camps and more. Thank you for your consideration! My statement for this piece: “God Bless Our Troops” is a window of gratitude, sacrifice, and remembrance. This terrarium is not just a composition of plants- it is a living tribute to those who have given everything for the freedoms we enjoy. The floral cross stands for the symbol of faith, sacrifice, and resilience, adorned with delicate blooms that reflect both beauty and fragility. The pathway of stone and sand invites contemplation, a journey of remembrance for many who have walked before us. Small American flag, nestled among the landscape, whisper stories of service and dedication. Every element- each plant, each color- represents the values that define our nation: Honor, Respect, Gratitude, and Sacrifice. This exhibit is a moment of reflection, a call to hold close the blessings afforded to us by the selflessness of others. It is a humble yet heartfelt thank you- a reminder to never take for granted the price of freedom.
