A Message From Kittie Oberg

I am competing for people's choice during Spiva in Bloom! Support me with a monetary donation. The floral artist that raises the most money will receive 50% of the total amount and 50% will go to George A. Spiva Center for the Arts to help with things like scholarships, outreach, classes, camps and more. Thank you for your consideration! My statement for this piece: The photographer (Thomas Herbst) said moments in life are fleeting, but moments in print are forever. True a print can be forever, as a floral designer moments in flowers are forever to me. The climbing roses at my granny's gate bring me a memory in time of happiness to see her waiting for us as we arrive at Sunday dinner, so very long ago. The house in this photo reminds me of my granny's home, it is gone now, as this one is going back to the earth it came from. The life of the home is just a memory, we see the trees and yard around the house and know that many memories are there. I see the garden of my granny, the flowers I have arranged are a walk in her yard. Colors of purples, pinks, blues, the shades of green ferns and ivies that take me back to childhood filled with fun and love at granny's home.
