A Message From LaDonna Mitchell

I am honored to be participating in the People’s Choice competition during Spiva in Bloom. You can support my floral design with a monetary donation. The artist who raises the most will receive 50% of the total funds raised, while the remaining 50% directly benefits the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts, supporting scholarships, educational outreach, classes, camps, and community programming. Thank you for your thoughtful support! My artist statement: I love the colors and the aspect of vintage salvage in this photo. I present my interpretation Sequel - which brings together salvage parts from our farm, old car parts, and pieces from a many-decades-old plow wheel that was weathering away to now breathe new life imbedded along with nature to this piece.
